From the legendary Honeyboy Edwards to the Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Pete Anderson and Baby Gramps, Donnie Sumner, Warran Haynes and Derek Trucks, Pinecone Fletcher has performed with some of the most respected and influential musicians in American music.
Homeless (by choice) most of his life and moving town to town illegally hopping freight train cars, Pinecone has honed his craft busking the street corners of America for nearly two decades. Singing songs of travel and his fellow hobos, Pinecone has entertained countless numbers with his brand of "Hobo" Blues.
Caught trespassing and asleep in an onion barn on an upstate, N.Y. farm, Pinecone was woke by retired music producer, turned pumpkin farmer, Brad Morrison. Most notably known for discovering the band Phish, Morrison had managed rock bands for years and was no stranger to the eccentric behavior of musicians. He invited the vagabond in for breakfast. After a chorus or two of Pinecone's "Mmm Mmm Good" as payment for the meal, Morrison offered to record the album that would become Pinecone's debut release "Hoboin'".
in 2010 Pinecone launched the Hobo King Guitar Co. to sell his handbuilt cigar box guitars. |
